Ugh. I ordered 100 postcards last week from Vistaprint.com. I thought it was going to be a good deal for our holiday cards; we needed less than half of the 100, but 100 was the lowest number you could order. So, I uploaded a photo of Henry and was excited to see how they turned out. Although I thought they were going to be much cheaper, I ended up spending like $30.00 on them. Also, I didn't order a proof because that was an extra charge.
Well.. they came today and they looked horrible. Its was a black and white photo but they printed it so dark that his head was almost not visible. I could send them out but they are just so bad looking. Unfortunately, I voided my chance of getting a refund when I waived the proof. Grrr..
But, that's okay. I'm really annoyed but I'll get over it. I love Christmas; it's my favorite holiday, by far. I'm not really a happy camper most of the winter- but, Christmas time makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
It's important to me that Henry understands that Christmas is not all about Santa Claus and getting spoiled. However, I do want to get him a couple of toys. We're definitely getting him a home-planetarium thing that projects the stars onto the ceiling and walls. He loves looking up at lights...
I'd like to get him something else, but I'm stuck. He really needs a new, fun toy. He has rattles, blocks, play gyms, and stuffed animals. I want to get him something unique and something that he will love. Any ideas?
I also have a 4-month old niece to shop for. Any suggestions there??
Basically, I would love it if all you moms would tell me what toy your baby couldn't live without when he/she was Henry and Ava's age. Henry is 7 months old and Ava is 4 months old. Help?
