first post for july

man oh man i can't believe that a year ago today we were on the road trying to make it to south dakota in time to see the fireworks at rushmore. it seems like it was only yesterday that i was posting about 'wading in socks'. . .
anyway i'm going to try to figure out how to get my room organized. . . eventually, i'd like to have a 'real one' come next month.
well i've got some stuff to do but i promise to have a better entry later today.
