I suppose it's been a little while since I last updated about what's going on with me (outside of my mind). I've been really extremely busy lately, so I've not had much chance to keep things up to date. Anyway, here we go...
Since music is a pretty big portion of my life, I'll start there. On the performance side of things, the choir performed at the Grotto on Nov. 29. It's always a blast to perform there. We also performed our winter concert on Dec. 4, in which one of the pieces I had a solo in (Loch Lommond). Then on Dec. 8, we performed for Advent Chapel.
Composing-wise, this has been a very packed time for me. Not only did my piece for Composition class get performed yesterday, Dec. 9, but I also had to write an entire symphony for a project in my Form and Analysis class. I ended up staying up all night Monday and Wednesday just to finish it. I finally finished it around noon on Thursday. I'm proud of what I've done, but I sure wish I could have spread it out a little. I'll soon be posting it to my website and SoundClick so everyone will be able to hear it.
In other news, I saw the Chronicals of Narnia last night. I must say I really enjoyed it. I think they portrayed it very well. I'll get into details a little more once people have had the chance to see it. In the meantime, let's just say I recommend it highly.
