10 Things Post 2: Karmeleon!
1. I love karma or rather, the concept of it. What goes around always comes around. It's the surest way of making yourself stop short before doing or saying something inappropriate. And as I see it in action around me, I secretly laugh inside.
2. In the immortal words of John F Kennedy, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". In my context, it is organisations, teams and relationships. When you commit to something willingly, be it for passion or for monetary reward, follow through and give 100%
When you know you're no longer willing to give that 100%, it is time to leave.
3. Being pro-active is a quality I find most precious, to myself and in others.
4. Why do I love music? Fame? Fortune? I found the answer in 2008: because through music I have found and built up many cherished friendships.
5. 2008 was a great year in music for me. Every gig was significant and awesome.
6. Actually 2008 was a good year all around. Many first times, many loves found.
7. Left 4 Dead is quite possibly one of most interesting FPS I have played, finally dislodging Team Fortress from the top spot!
8. I resolve to be fitter, happier, more productive. Thanks to the gahmen for putting me in RT. I ache everywhere as I type but I'm feeling good!
9. Time to add a second paintball medal to my lonely bronze one.
