10 Things Since My Last Update (1)
1. I'm taking part in this band competition thing. Wanted to name ourselves "The Cock Rockers" in tribute to all the hip thrusting bands of the 80s but name got veto-ed by the organisers. So we have morphed into "The Danger Dangers!". Cos we're twice as dangerous.
2. Acquired a new Fender Strat thanks to good friend who has left for Japan to work for a year. Middlymiddlymeeeeee!
3. I actually got it when bandmate described Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive" as the Schrodinger's Cat song.
4. Went shopping for stuff for above mentioned competition. Realise that almost every shop in the Peninsula area now caters fashion for the "indie" crowd. Checkered shirts and skinny jeans galore.
5. Boon Lay is not as boring as it should be but yes it is frickin' far.
6. Updated comic collection with Marvel Zombies and Road to Civil War. Civil War seems pretty "meh" compared to say, Grant Morrison's run at New X-Men and "The End of..." series of comics.
7. Also uncovered my collection of Transmetropolitian singles (by Warren Ellis) and Give Me Liberty issues 1 and 2 (by Frank Miller). Hmmm. Tempted to go Pokemon on them!
8. My character is now Cleric 10/Contemplative of Oghma 1 (Bonus points for you if you got that one)
9. Will everyone please stop borrowing The Time Traveller's Wife? Also, Neal Asher is a sexy author whose blog I just discovered. Yum.
10. Erenes Nat is probably the only person who can stun me into TMI Silence in a conversation (it involved french maids and nurses). I blame her euphoria over winning at poker.
