thoughts on xmas
intresting how everyone always buys into the gift giving this time of year, myself included. I personally don't do it for christmas (hell i call it xmas most of the time), but do it out of obligation. More or less i give cause i know that i will recieve...how fucked up is that? Then again, alot of the people i care about don't really care about the holiday in the form of a gift exchange, and the one i really really really care about I got something for...so maybe its not as fucked up as i think?
i don't know, i am by no stones throw a christian/catholic, and personally a majority of this season leaves a funny taste in my mouth. I can't help but feel that it is all a huge commercial sceme (which it is). I even have to agree with the people who say put the christ back in christmas, even though i don't follow the faith. I feel that a majority of people out there who are "celibrating" christmas are nothing but a bunch of ban wagon fans, jumping on in when it means they get shit and jumping back out when they dont...
