I cut and paste because I am LOLZ
What I spent my Saturday evening doing. :D :D
Okay so.
My parents had gone furniture shopping which they HATE so I felt bad for them.
I also felt bad cause our house is a total mess because we just had 3/4 of all the walls painted.
My seester was gone with some bfflz.
So I was home alone. On MySpace. Nooooooo.
So first I just vacuumed the whole house as a surprise for my parents.
Then I decided to put our entire house back together, and I rearranged the stuff my mom wasn't satisfied with.
Then I figured what the hell and I trimmed 10 bushes in our front yard and raked all the leaves.
Then I made a CD of Lurve and washed all the counters in the kitchen.
When I called my mom and asked when they'd be home, she said in about 5 minutes.
So I got out some frenchbread and put american cheese on them and stuck 'em in ze toaster. lkfdgdgjs very very good. And I set out strawberries too. And champagne.
So my parents came inside and they just looked dead tired. And my mom wasn't looking forward to making dinner.
Okay so, the look on their faces when they saw the house in perfect condition and hor'deurves on the counter was enough of a reward for me, yo.
Then I made bowtie pesto pasta with peas and babycarrots and corn mixed in from Petaluma Market. And I steamed corn on ze cobby too!
And I toasted this REALLY GOOD GARLIC RYE BREAD FROM TRADER JOE'S THAT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and yeah.
It was great.
And now my parents are happy, so I'm happy.
Cause I love them. A lot. :)
