She had been so caught up in the planning, but she had at least managed to remember to tell Freddy when and where they were going to meet.
The stir-fry went better than she had hoped, though of course it wouldn't have happened at all without help. Still it was made with plenty of time to get it over to the Hub and then make herself presentable.
She set up the food on the table. She put a candle in the middle planning to light it right before Freddy got there. It was slightly lame, but it seemed that she didn't mind lame quite so much anymore. Yeah this place was making her soft. She had worries, but for now there wasn't much she could do so she went back to attempting to make some sort of life her. She had too much happen not to feel like she deserved it.
The time passed too quickly as she made her way back to the hub just a few minutes before time.
