Tada!
We are back from our adventures in Paradise (tm). Actually, we got back last night, but Brian pointed out that between the two of us, we'd gotten about three hours of sleep in the last 42, and we should maybe do something about that instead of putzing about on the computers.
Did you know that the aftermath of weddings is not unlike the aftermath of a tornado? If you don't believe me, you should see our apartment right now. OMG. Between all the wedding stuff making its way back here as people could grab it, packages arriving, gifts being opened and Windsor deciding that we need a new deck (which we do, and it's good, but it means everything on the deck has to find a home inside until it's done...), things are more than a little crowded and crazy.
I will endeavor to share stories later, as we are currently attempting to be productive. Here are some teasers:
- We narrowly avoided being bag people in San Juan in the middle of the night.
- American Eagle (the airline) is a bastard.
- The Caribbean Sea stole my glasses.
- Massages are excellent
- Bicycling on the ocean, while difficult, is not impossible.
- When you are in the ocean, rain can come from ANY direction!
- Rainforest + ziplines = Epic Win
- Local wildlife causes ADD
- Hurricane Omar stole the beach!
- I failed to eat blue cheese, but I did frolic in Hurricane Waves!
- Little did we know, the Atlanta Airport becomes a refrigerator at night while no one is looking.
All in all, it was a fantastic trip. I highly recommend it.
