A rant on Haloween.
Alright. So, it's only Labor Day, but this is already starting to come up, and it irks me every year, so I might as well get it out now.
I love Haloween. I reallyreallyreally do. It is, in fact, my favorite holiday. It takes place in my favorite month. those two might even be corrolated- I'm not sure. But, really, I absolutely adore Halloween.
But I fucking HATE women's Halloween costumes.
I hate that an opportunity to be someone or something else, to step away from your normal routine, has become a chance to be as skanky as you can. Really, if you're looking for the "Naughty Nurse" costume for something different from you everyday existence, I'm not so sure you're being something different than usual.
