Been a while
Well, it's definately been quite a while since I posted here. Lot's been happening. I've left the military and am currently looking for employment. I"ve moved back to Alaska and am staying with family in the meantime. Not going to really go into details about why I left the military other than I wasn't happy anymore and I needed to get out. On the positive side, I got to drive cross country so that was pretty cool. Unfortuantely I didn't have much time to stop places and check stuff out, but it was still a neat trip.
I'd hoped to be able to make FC this year, but due to money issues and such, that's not happening. If I can get something going, maybe I"ll be able to make AC. I really miss going to cons.
I"m lucky that I at least have a place to live and some money to tide me over till I can get a new job. It's rough living with family again after having been on my own for so long. Ideas and the ways we're use to doing things are way different so that causes conflict which can add to the frustrations I"m feeling over not finding a decent job. I've been trying security type positions but not having much luck. I did have one interview with the local animal control. I"m waiting to hear back if I'm going to the next step or not. Other than that, it's been almost completely quiet in reguards to the applications and resumes I"ve put out there.
Hoping something comes up soon and I'll try to post more than once every few months :P
