how aware is lady of his animosity?

i think she's pretty aware that he's got a rivalry thing going on with her, though i think FOR THE MOST PART he tries not to be outwardly acerbic with her since he DOES know that the both of them answer directly to poet.

I AM FAIRLY CERTAIN NOBODY KNOWS HE'S PLOTTED KILLING HER. except maybe poet. who could have been like :| at him and that was enough to get rook from considering it anymore.

gooood. :V because i think the feeling is pretty mutual, though she'll likely smile at him and call him darling while secretly wanting to throttle him BECAUSE THAT IS HOW LADY ROLLS.

also win sort of likened poet to the "observer" last night in chat, and it seems like he sort of knows pretty much everything that goes on. so i imagine he WOULD know but i don't think that he would tell anyone. also have you seen this bad ass keanu. 8|

I LOVE IT /eats it up with a spoon. the fact that lady has tried to kill him in a FIT probably still AMUSES HIM to this day since rook is all about self-control and the way you've scoped lady's personality would probably make him think she has none. BUT the fact that she smiles and is also kind of a LIARFACE wins her points in his book. it's kind of a love/hate thing for him, i'd imagine, since they are -- in certain ways -- very much alike (being so possessive and outwardly 'pleasant).

I THINK SHE IS SORT OF IN DENIAL ABOUT HER FITS. she's probably like. C: no, see. i'm a lady. FOREVER. and of course while she hates him/the fact that poet made him first (and probably likes him more), i think she has to respect him as well. ALSO I IMAGINE THEY ARE BOTH RATHER STRONG? with of course poet being the strongest.

WHEN SHE GETS LIKE THAT ROOK'S PROBABLY RIGHT yes of course you are :) SOMETIMES while making it obvious HAAAAAA YOU'RE IN DENIALLLL~ yeah i imagine the both of them have been around a while and i also think that overtime lady DOES very obviously haveh er shit together when she wants to and that ALSO wins her a modicum of respect. i think it's one of those things where they are BOTH good at what they do since they're BOTH poet's right-hand-men so to speak, but the fact that they BOTH want the same things (re: people's attention, to be favorites or whatever) means they sort of also hate and resent one another.

also i saw that rook is more loyal to poet than seer and i wonder if lady is maybe the same way? AND IF PERHAPS they might wish that poet would TAKE OVER although he probably is like :| because he seems loyal to seer.

i actually really like that idea! the fact that both rook and lady would see poet (since he's much more TANGIBLE to them in a way and was responsible for 'raising' them, in a sense, much moreso than seer ever was) as their REAL leader. i'm sure it's one of the things that UNITE them, in a way.

i also think that rook was probably a lot more compassionate to lady when they were both 'younger', but the more certain and confident she became the more she became HERSELF and less HIS (if that makes sense) the more those feelings of rivalry and resentment began to develop.
