Saigo no Yakusoku

♥ - It was hard remembering their character names, because they were mostly being themselves. :D; In fact, the entire thing was like an AU drama fic for me... actually, I might even go so far as to say the drama kinda had the vibe of primroseshows's amazing fic, "This Might Have Been Easier Without the Death Ray". Even though that's a high school AU and this is... not. STILL. VIBE OKAY. (If you haven't read it, go read it now! You won't regret it.)

♥ - For the first hour and a half, I thought the plot was just all right, but the twist oh the twist. That was the most beautiful omgwtf moment ever. Very, very well done, I did not expect it. It's only after the twist/truth was revealed that I had to marvel at the story-writing.

♥ - All the entrances of the building that the hostages were trapped in were made of glass. Before the masses were herded to the 15th(?) floor, they could have broken out a fire extinguisher or something equally heavy and broken the glass to get out. This bothered me so much, my god.

♥ - Jun/Meisa had some super hot moments, but I found it hard to get into Meisa's tsundere character. ^^; Also, when a guy tells you to run, you RUN. Don't waste his efforts by not listening and then getting yourself taken away by the bad guys. I go absolutely crazy when a character does that as;ldj.

♥ - Ohno and that old guy. Too adorable. I really want those two to meet up again and have drinks together at a nearby bar. I think it's hilarious that 80% of the drama had the two of them crawling through dark vents in the ceiling. Meanwhile, Aiba's trapped in the toilet. XDD

♥ - When Nino's boss said, "You don't have any friends, do you?" I snorted out loud.

♥ - Better yet, when five of them got together, Nino's boss said, "Well. Looks like you do have friends; good ones at that," and Nino chuckled.

♥ - Seriously, the last half hour was the best part of the whole drama. You get to see the five of them interact, and while crawling through a tight vent later, they start bitching at each other for making moves that weren't originally in the plan, especially Jun for getting the hots for Meisa, and Sho for begging for the hostages to be released. XDDD

♥ - When Ohno thought he lost his keys, Nino's immediate move was to drop to his knees and start patting the front of Ohno's pants. Though. That area clearly had no pockets. Jun came over to pat at Ohno's hip too. If that's in the script, kudos to the screenwriter. If not, well. Rawr.

♥ - Did I mention how cool the ending was? Because the ending was SUPER COOL. Coolest way to go out ever, hands-down. The boys knew they had committed a crime and they were prepared to pay the price. Happy, in fact, to pay it. That's how it should be. *nods* I also love that Ohno played the leader and said, "Let's go," and all the members obeyed without question. As much as I adore Ohno with his supreme fluffy lack of leadership self, he is hot when he dishes out orders.

[edit] Because lots of folks were asking: Arashi had accomplices playing the role of terrorists, before they switched into those black uniforms and allowed the accomplices to escape along with the rest of the hostages. The boys explained that near the end, after they revealed themselves in the security center. That's how they managed to fool everyone the entire way through.

I'll get to replies tomorrow. m(_ _)m
