Has anyone read Dante's Divine comedy? So far read the first five cantos. Understood the first half of the first canto, than was lost and found my way back. Second was lost upon me. Third-fifth made sense, but some parts were hazy. This we do for a political science class.
As the teacher said, humans have this quality of accepting total BS as acceptable when it comes to politics, in the past and present. Even though it is early modern political thought, we are only looking at their ideas, and mainly focusing on contemporary politics and see where they fail, where they succeed.
