Canadians love HDTV even if they don't fully understand it Almost 60 per cent said they were not at all knowledgeable about the latest advancements, compared to less than 40 per cent of men polled across the country. I would definitely think that 40% is too low a number. Most men would lie to cover up not knowing.
Forty-eight per cent of those polled rated concerns such as power consumption and toxins used in manufacturing as very important when considering which HDTV to buy. This is coming from people who hardly recycle anything. Electricity is cheap, so power consumption is not an issue, because if you afford to buy a $5000 tv, and than worrying about how much higher the electricity bills are, than that is a sad purchase by a sad person. Most people leave the lights on in the house who have grown up here. Strange world we live in.
