It should take you somewhere in UK (Badminton, South Gloucestershire GL9 UK). Zoom out, until you can see the water. You'll find something very strange.

I didn't check out the google map thing, but hey, beach in cities... depends on city. I wouldn't really want to go to a beach right near Manhattan

Possibly, i didn't look at all the beaches, but most of the coastline for france also had similar signs, a very small line stretching along the beach, but still, very scary.
