You've work at Frys before right? I'm wondering what my chances of getting the job if I've never been employed before.

If you apply as a cashier, there's a pretty good chance you'll be hired there. There's a whole lot of gruntwork that'll have to be done if you're hired (moving carts, cleaning the men's restroom, taking the garbage out of the cans throughout the store). You'll also have to get a certain number of people to sign up for Fry's cards. Though this requirement isn't imposed as hard on the new guys, if you work there long enough, you'll be required to get three a week (or something). If you fail to do so after a number of weeks, they'll require you to come in Saturday morning and sit through a thing where they teach you how to get people to sign up. *shrug ( ... )

Yeah, I think I'm going to apply there. Did you bring the application and resume to customer service?

Oh, and did you transfer to a different department from customer service?

Nope. When you walk into the store, there's a table to the left where you can fill out an application and a box which you can drop it off in.

And no, I didn't transfer. I wasn't there long enough to do so. I had just taken the job for the summer.

hi, I just got a call from frys today and now I have an interview scheduled for monday after noon at 1:30.

I was wondering what type of pants I should wear, and what type of questions are asked at the interview if you remember = )

Actually, I wore some casual clothes when I went in for the interview when they hired me. I don't think I remember anyone else being interviewed wear anything besides a shirt and jeans, but you can dress formal if you want.

A lot of the questions they'll ask will involve technology, movies, among other things. They'll start off by asking questions based on the application you submitted, then they'll go from there. At the end, they told me that they were going to hire me and I just need to get a drug test down in Bellevue.

Other than that, there's nothing too far-fetched about the interview. Good luck!!
