Yeah, there's no hope of catching up or being chronological or even logical about this. I started random and will doubtless continue to be random.
Starting to feel creatively inspired again after a long period of just feeling Tired. I turned forty a few months ago and surprised myself by taking it very badly. But it really shouldn't have been a surprise, as I certainly set myself up for it. Lifelong procrastination and endless idealistic To Do lists are poor equipment in the face of dwindling time and energy.
But today I found myself thinking, as I stood in the basement feeding armored cable up into the kitchen wall, that it was nice to be old enough to have a lot of experience and still young enough to be capable of using it.
