Break Thus Far
So it is now the fifth day of break and I was ready to go back to school a few days ago. I got home Saturday around 430pm and was soundly sleeping by 5 o'clock, I then preceeded to sleep through dinner all the way until 1 the next afternoon! It was a nice break. Monday night I went out to J. Alexanders for my little sis' birthday. Her parents, stepmom, and two half sisters were all there. It was really nice and I realized how spoiled she is. lol. Tuesday I worked out (wahoo, on my way to trimming up for Hawaii). Then I had to work from 3-8. After work I came home expecting to make christmas cookies with my momma, but she bought Pirates, so we made s'mores (s'more of what? <--thats right, the sandlot! one of my all time favs!) and watched pirates. p.s I learned how to knit and am now on my way to knitting a shoddy scarf! This morning I woke up thinking it was noon and that i had missed my hair appointment, but really it was like 7:30. Went back to bed, got lost on the way to the hair place. Then I had to go home and dress up and go to the village club with my momma, cuz, aunt, mrs ives and kim. Lunch was fabulous. I thne had to rush home, dress down, and head to the dickersons. which once again brings us up to speed. I am still trying to figure out plans for new years, i would like to spend it with, ah hem... and jess and a bunch of other people, but i don't know if that is going to happen. we will see. My parents don't want me to have people over because we are getting new floors, carpet and a new kitchen, so "the house will be in no shape to entertain." yeah. sweet.
So also my mom has been freaking out lately b/c we are having my cousins baby shower on sat, and the house needed to be clean on tuesday! ahhhh, what to do!? who cares? we will clean on saturday, it's really not that big of a deal. She persists on telling me that WE have so much to get ready for. WE need to do this. WE need to do that. Shit, I didn't want to have this shower. I love my cousin, she's awesome, but seriously, she'd be happy with pizza and ice cream. There is no need for such a fuss. Blah (phi sigma phi style)
So tomorrow Im supposed to hang out with Jules! Hopefully I can fit that in. I have lots of crafty things to do. I need to work on the "box" work on my book, read my book and finish my scarf. I don't really want to work on my book to tell you the truth. oh well. Ok, off to knit, i know i am an old grandma at the age of 19 (soon to be 20!) peace.
