2001: A LetterSpace Odyssey
All you cats who are pros in Typography but don't dig letterform design ( jk! ) will get a kick out of this online workshop provided by the University of Delaware's Visual Communication program. Log in as Guest, and then start the Exercises.
Each one presents a word that has badly kerned sets of letters, along with at least 2 that are perfect. You technicians will then retrack the rest of the letters until you're satisfied. If you're off, it'll show you by how many Pts and score you by the average.
