As of late I haven't really felt the need (or want, for that matter) to update this thing. Anyways...
This past weekend was a total blast.
Saturday - Had drive #3 with Brian, and I thought I did real well, probably the best one up to that point. After that, we picked up Lawrence, and all went to Fairlane Mall. Even though I had over $200, I didn't buy anything. I know, shocking. After walking around the mall for a few hours and deciding that we weren't going to buy anything, we went to see an earlier showing of "The Dukes of Hazzard". Boy, was that decision bad. Not only was the movie bad, but these douche bags behind us kept yelling throughout the entire movie. I seriously considered starting a "Shut The Fuck Up!" chant. Again, like I said before; the movie sucked. The comedy scenes were poor, as was the acting. Jessica Simpson was the ONLY positive thing about the movie...
Sunday - Brian and his Dad picked me up at 10:30am, and we headed to COBO Hall in downtown Detroit for the 2005 Dub Magazine Car Show & Concert. Boy, the ride down was hell. Why the hell would you shut down I-96 COMPLETELY on a WEEKEND when there are EVENTS GOING ON? Just doesn't make sense. So, we were forced to travel through the ghetto. And when I mean ghetto, I MEAN IT. I don't think I've seen any worse, and I've seen 'em all! We finally get there, and the day quickly began to turn around. I loved the event, as it was a total blast. Got to see Mike Jones in concert, which was real cool. Oh, and Vida Guerra is hotter in person than she is in the magazines. ;) Only complaint I really have about the event is the way the autograph sessions were held. The artists would only sign for like 10 minutes, and leave... hanging a LONG LINE of people out to dry. And for that, we got no autographs, which kind of sucked. We also seen a few of the AND1 guys (Professor, AO, Syk Wyt It) walking around too. A real fun day, and I got a TON of free stuff, which is always cool.
Monday - Other than having class for Driver's Ed, I don't think I did a whole lot.
Yesterday - Finished my fourth paper for the AP Government class. Ordered 8 Ring of Honor DVD's too. Yeah, I know, I'm a wrestling dork. Bite me. Oh, and more Driver's Ed...
Today - Had Drive #4, for which we got to drive on the Express Way. And honestly, today's drive was the most comfortable I've felt behind the wheel yet. Only 2 more drives before I get my 'Level 1' License!
And later, more Driver's Ed class. There's a parent meeting, so me and Brian are going to eat somewhere in the mall before class.
In all seriousness, I hate Westland Mall now...
