"Mommy, What's An 'Asshole'?"
Damn, this week has flied by like no other, so far. And go figure; NO UPDATE!
Monday... was the first day of Driver's Ed. We got there super early, so me and my Mom walked around Sear's for a few minutes. She bought me "Ladder 49" on DVD, which was real nice of her. ;)
As for class; it was real boring. Lot of talk, talk, and more talk. However, we did get to schedule our first drive. Me and Brian decided to go the next morning at 11am.
Tuesday... was up around 7:30 to get ready for the long ass day. Went to the bank and deposited most of my check, while cashing $50. What kind of bank doesn't provide debit cards? After that, we picked Brian up and we were at Westland Mall around 10:30am. Since we were so early, my Mom decided to let me drive around the vacant Sam's Club parking lot across the street. Then... came 11am, and we got to drive. Since Brian was such a pussy, he made me go first, which is fine by me. Get over with it quicker. In the beginning, I was kinda nervous, but it all faded away half-way through the drive. It was awesome that he allowed us to go on the main roads from the beginning. Mr. Grenier is real over with me. Awesome guy. Got to make a few left turns, one at Wayne and Warren in front of the mall. Did them pretty well too. :) Overall, he said that Brian and myself did real well, for our first drive. I felt really comfortable on the road, and I don't think I should have much trouble anytime soon. Scheduled my next drive for Friday morning as well.
After that, me and Brian walked to Denny's to have lunch. Once we got in there... it started to POUR, BIG TIME. It was kind of funny too, because all during Brian's drive it looked like it was going to rain, and Brian was hoping it would, but it never did. And 5 minutes after he got done, it did. So, we got to watch it hail while we ate. Why is it that EVERY TIME I go to Denny's, they don't have Cherry Lemonade? Heh, bad luck, I guess.
After that... we walked over to Best Buy, and hung around there for a while. Ended up getting "AND 1 MixTape, Volume 8" on DVD. While I was there, I seen that they had 'The Oblongs' on DVD. I'm so getting that next time.
We then walked BACK to the Mall, and hung around there for a little while, before heading to the movie theater down the road. Ended up seeing "Bad News Bears", which I thought was ridiculously funny. I'd say about half the people in the theater were parents with little kids, which I thought was real stupid. I mean, a movie with BILLY BOB THORNTON playing a DRUNK is NOT a movie you want to bring your little ones too. Pop of the night had to have been when "asshole" was said during a scene in the movie, and a little kid in the theater yells out; "Mommy, what's an 'asshole'?" Awesome goodness.
After the movie, we walked back to the Mall, just in time for our Driver's Ed class. More boring stuff.
Overall, a real fun day. Sometime next week I think Brian and myself are going to see "War Of The Worlds" as well.
Yesterday (Wednesday)... went to get a physical up at the School. I swear, I was violated. After that, was right back to Sear's at Westland Mall for Driver's Ed. BO-RING!
Today... haven't done a whole lot, just hung around the house. You guessed it, more Driver's Ed class later today. I swear, it's only been 4 days, and I'm already getting sick of Sear's and Westland Mall. Oh, the joy.
And sometime this weekend, I need to write my third paper for my AP Government class' summer work. *burp*
