so
the last few weeks have been a bit hectic!
Xmas saw the extended family and had a nice chill few days off. New Years was nuts. A friend of mine got *wrecked* and I had to find her and her two friends a cab home at 11:20...on NYE. Oye. No one would stop!
In between those I went to my high school alumni reunion, a small holiday party/dinner where we were supposed to play board games but instead I led a discussion on saving for retirement and investing in China, a housewarming party in Glen Park, and my high school badminton reunion. Fun stuff!
And today I played in my grade school basketball reunion. I never played bball in grade school...or high school...and really I only took it up two years ago. We (class of 96) played the class of 86 and the class of 98 and we got beat by both. The old fogies were shooting the lights out and then their big man started talking shit! What the hell? The young un's were blazing by us and trying to dunk - until we set a zone defense and starting mounting a comeback. I hit a few shots...which was good!
Now I am sore. But I did get to spend the evening at Khara's, where she made lasagna and she, Bailey and Christine and I watched The Island (OMG Scarlett Johansson is so fucking HOT) and The Great Raid. Plus I saw hookers outside her window! haha. now sleep time.
