Sounds like my coworkers. It's even more fun in person!

Sounds like my coworkers as well....I'm surrounded by corporate conservatives for the most part. I have a strict "no talking politics" rule when it comes to the work place or other events where coworkers will be present, as a result.

Word. At my last job, our CEO was a retired Army General. They don't come any more conservative than that.

Yes and no. I've known quite a few military and former military who aren't all dyed-in-the-wool conservatives.

Conservatives don't really have a corner on the market as far as support from the military goes anymore. They just haven't fully realized it yet. Though, having the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs come out against DADT recently was probably a nice big smack with the Clue Bat. ;p

I wish I could have that rule. I have to talk about this stuff with them on a daily basis and it's not good for my bp.

Well, since the company I work for has various agencies in the Federal government as it's biggest customer, they really aren't in a position to bash our current POTUS or his administration all that much. Which probably kind of burns their collective onion a little bit. ;p

It amuses the hell out of me, though. :)
