What do you think the point is of what books were chosen for the Canon and what werent?
When I look at books like Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, James, and Jude...I wonder what their purposes are. WHen I read the Shepard of Hermas or some of the other extra biblical books...I feel like I recognize their purpose and wonder why they were not included. A book like Jasher is a good example. Its quoted in the bible...but not published with the bible.
