Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger impressed with Aaron Ramsey's performance against Wolves Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has saluted the performance of 18-year-old Aaron Ramsey in Saturday's convincing 4-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The young midfielder, already a full Wales international, played at the heart of the Gunners' midfield and Wenger was quick to praise the former Cardiff City man after the game, admitting he had been particularly impressed with the player's progression.
"He is 18 years old, people forget that," said Wenger, according to the Daily Mail.
"I set him a target to play between 15 and 18 games and he has improved a lot.
"He has a tremendous engine and already has good experience for someone his age."
Meanwhile, Abou Diaby appears likely to miss France's World Cup qualifying play-off encounter with the Republic of Ireland after picking up a calf injury and being substituted after just 23 minutes.
How about that, I leave for the weekend and miss our bb playing for the starting XI
