Calm lake pics
A post in songdogmi's journal inspired this. He posted a "calm lake" pic (for those needing calm), and I started thinking of some of the pics I've taken.

Another early-morning lake pic (not as calm): a lake in Crosslake, Minnesota, USA; August 4, 2005. My family has a cabin on this lake, and it's one of my favorite places on Earth.

Lunsten Lake; Victoria, Minnesota, USA; September 18, 2005. Same Sunday, still smooth as glass.
Last pics for now: a lake/swamp (depending on season and rainfall) in the Minnesota River Valley; May 9, 2007. It was a pleasant afternoon, and though the water wasn't quite as calm as in some of these other pics, it was calm enough.
Hopefully some of the calm from these pics will be passed on to those reading this.
