Ahh...the life in the summer of Humboldt
Ah yes....finally, the sound of rain hitting ferociously on cars as they pass by....
23 days till school....and I think since I'm taking nothin' but music classes next semester, I'm looking forward to it.
I'll want to visit all my friends that'll be the continuous 'dormies' too.....
Last night was a really goodER nite....
Last night was the opening night of The Music Man. It went very well. I was pleased with our performance and with the cast. Afterwords, they had a recepTION with lots of food. The people I talked to that were of the audience were very pleased with the music.
I went with my friend, Erin, to downtown Eureka, where we met up with other people from the orchestra @ a bar inside the Eureka Inn. It was quite nice. Good times. I had drinks with our director, Jon Ector. Super guy he is, too. We were there for quite some time. Erin and I went to Toni's (!) afterwards too. On the way home, we were singing Depeche Mode songs. I got home about 4am. I haven't been use to getting home so late or even staying awake that late for a while now. I slept well, and had a goodER dream.
I want to insert some lyrics hE-ER, but I can't remember the song that goes something like, "...and I'm feeling fine." It's definitely a Marilyn Manson song, though.
