The coming of Birthday

Apr 27, 2009 22:45

I never think to post to my livejournal. When I do think to post to my livejournal, I don't know that I'm ever sure what to say. That's why recently LJ has become a method of moving traffic towards my public blog, aaroneiche.com. So, sorry about that. A quick update in the world of me.

Right now, I am diving back into electronics, making things. I want to make things. Every couple of weeks or so, I dive into a new project. I try very much to finish them, but it's something I'm still trying to do.
My current projects include:

- Programming a Facebook game
- Building a metal robot figurine (this is not actually a robot, just a figurine of one)
- Creating a traveling internet-aware device (more on that in the near future I hope)
- An ARG.

This doesn't include all the little side thoughts that I have, all the little projects I want to engage in. Organization, time, and money are my set backs. Organization is my own fault, and available time is directly related to that. I'm working on options to provide the third. Can I take a little aside to mention this note: Robert Kiyosaki makes an important point when he says "An Asset is something that puts money in your pocket without you having to do anything." I think everyone ought to work on that. Find something that puts money in your pocket without you having to do anything. Actually, let me amend that: An asset is something that generates money in your pocket without you having to do anything.

Anyway. My birthday is coming up in a month (May 28th, mark it on the calendar) and I posted a little thing at the old weblog: http://aaroneiche.com/2009/04/27/my-2009-birthday-wishlist/
