I've decided to no longer become a doctor and to now go into the scuba business. . .here's why:

Ok, so my dad and I went out today to get all of my snorkeling stuff for the bahama trip and we went to this place off of 85. We were the only customers but you could tell that they got plenty of business normally. Anyhow. . .there were only three guys working and it reminded me of working at the pool in that they were just sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Well, I asked one question. . ."where are your shorties?" and they sprang like dogs. "Oh well over here you've got your standard" then another said "but over here you've got your serious diving shorties" blah blah blah. At first I was a little overwhelmed. . .i mean. . .I didn't even know what size to get so my dad asked them for me. Boy oh boy, if I ever felt like I was being checked out it was then. . .all three of them lookin me up and down and asking me to turn around and what not. . .then they said they thought I was a four. . ha!! a four!!! i wish but I laughed and said let's try a six!! Anyway, I tried on a few different kinds and every time I came out in this skin tight mini suit they'd start critiquing the suit and coming up and sticking their fingers in the arms and the legs and saying it's too loose here or too tight here. . . and so on and so forth. The whole time though I felt like they were checking me out. . .it was kinda weird. So of course I paid more attention to the hottest one there (while my dad was on the other side of the store) and it was really funny because the other two just left after that and the one helped me find the mask, fins, and snorkel. He even helped me find a pair of sunglasses that actually look good on my face, for once. It was just really weird. . .i dunno. . .i can't explain it. He checked me out and after he gave me the receipt he gave me this funny half winky thing. . .i have no idea what to call it. He was really hot though so I've decided to get a job there

ha! yeah right. . .too far and lifeguarding's better. . .free tan ;)
