Mavericks Prepare To "Give 'Em Hell"

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks have announced "Give 'Em Hell" as the team's inaugural season theme. The slogan pays homage to former President Harry S. Truman and his famous statement. The Mavericks also announced that the All-American Rejects and their song "Gives You Hell" will proudly be featured throughout the team's inaugural season.
"We are extremely thrilled to present our theme and partnership with the All American Rejects," said Mavericks' President and General Manager Brent Thiessen. "We have incorporated the history of Independence with President Truman's famous slogan as well as incorporated a top tier band in the All-American Rejects."
Missouri plays the first game at Independence Events Center tonight at 7:05 p.m. against the Wichita Thunder. The game is sold out and tickets to the Mavericks game on Saturday are nearing capacity. (...)
