The All-American Rejects banned from Richmond International Raceway
I sent an email to the staff at RIR about the golf cart safety issue as well as the decision to select the band who performed Saturday night. To briefly reiterate; The band’s lyrics made several referances to the ladies who were at the race that were less than complimentary. (that’s putting it mildly) I cannot post the exact words that were used here because this post would then be flagged. Which is as it should be. Need I say more?…lol I only sent my email concern’s yesterday and have received the following response already. It tells me that sometimes it pays to let someone know when something is inappropriate. Here it is…

The All American Rejects will not be performing at RIR ever again. We apologize for that decision.
As for the golf carts, I agree with you that we have entirely too many roaming around the property and they are going too fast. I have sent your comments to the senior staff here at RIR for review.
