Mixed day
On the plus side, new job seems to be going well (apart from a moment of "oh shit, I'm out of my depth").
On the downside, JPP, one of the smartest people I ever knew or worked with, has been found dead in his flat. He was in his 60's, and apparently was looking rather ill, but even so.
That's the fourth person this year I've known who's died.
Here's to you JPP. A man who could do formal methods and static analysis in his head, but still be human and have a great sense of humour.
