Surgery
So I'm awake, I have to drive into the city during morning rush hour, and I can't have anything to eat or drink until afterwards. I'm nervous and a little scared. I'm worried about traffic, so I'm giving myself 2 hours to get down there instead of the normal 40 minutes. That may be a little much, but traffic routinely stops or slows to a crawl in the mornings. Erin will be with me, so that makes me feel a little better, but I'm really wound up.
I'm sure everything will go fine with the surgery. It should take about 90 minutes to complete the surgery, with at least an hour of recovering from the anaesthesia after that. I should be out of the hospital by 2pm, and I imagine I'll be very hungry. I'll try to be around tonight, at least to make an update, but I might be too doped up to give any kind of responses.
