Incoming! Take cover!
Yes, on Tuesday I'm expecting both my mother, in her first solo trip since dad died, and my mother-in-law, who is also traveling sans husband because her hubby has gigs and can't get away. They're both coming to celebrate the graduations of my children, from elementary and middle school variously. I hope it will be fun but it might be a little tense....
My mom will stay here. I don't know that she's ready to take on hotel rooms alone (and since she sometimes forgets to lock up her house I would worry.) My MIL stays at a nearby hotel, and I've already apologized to her for the discrepancy.
We got one of those EZ beds for mom so she'll take over this room, the family room, which will make the house seem a little cramped. But, oh well.
In other news, there isn't really any other news. PTA work sucks but continues. The kids and I joined the local Y and hope to work out sometimes (or else that $110+ will be a big monthly waste!).
EI continues to bore and annoy, and I think none of us should take it too seriously.
