This and that
So....I havent updated for a while but me and J have been just chilling, it was much needed. They say time is a great healer, and it is, even if some days are better than others.
We are focussing on the wedding and I have my dress picked out, well, they style and colour, I think I will get it made as I need material that will be pretty thin for Cyprus...Oh OH that reminds me, J's aunt who is a lil ditzy thought J was marrying a girl called Cyprus saying "Thats an unusual name..." until they had to correct her. Mind you, this was the sme aunt who put Tenna Ladies in the toaster instead of bread and had the fire brigade out....bless her.
So, Edinburgh was fun, I forgot how beautiful the city was, the Christmas lights were still on so the castle was gorgeous. I have to laugh when I think of the American who said to my sister "Wow that was so neat, they built a castle right next to the train station!" um....no....
We took some nice pictures and hilarity persude, Ian and Jill went to the next pub as Mags and I found the one and only shop that was still open and dived in. It was an underwear shop of all shops, but we had fun in it. Holding up things and saying loudly "Where is this supposed to go?" Across the shop to each other. Reminds me of the time we were in the Ann Summers shop and these young boys were there, Mags says all sweet like "Excuse me boys, can I get in to the pussy rub cream?" they scarpered pretty quick as we were on the floor in fits of laughter.
We were in one pub when Ian decided he needed photos for his caller ID on his phone. He took some cool pics of us so we asked him to bluetooth them to us, if you are familiar with this, you know that anyone who has it, and its on, will come up on their phone. So Ian has this guy called PC Plod (or Paul) and decides it will be fun to send my picture to him, so he does this and scans the room for the person, luckily he obviously wasnt in that part of the bar, but now has a pretty cool pic of me....
Anyway, Im out most of this weekend, so Im sure there will be things happening,,,,I will keep you informed. Thanks for the kind words, hugs and so on guys, I wasnt in the right frame of mind to reply so Im saying it here. Hope all is well with you all, and I send my love (and J's)
