Things are looking up.....
Went to visit my brother tonight. They have finally put him on dialysis and although he still feels really sick, the Docs say it will get much better for him in the next month. He is allowed home tomorrow. He is now on the transplant list but he doesnt seem to be in any immediate danger anymore.
I was out last week at a mates house with the girls. I was driving my sparkly new car and was stopped by the police just as I was dropping Jill home. Turns out my fog lights were on and its an instant £30 ($50) fine. After the policeman standing looking at the lights and me trying every button I could see in the car, we finally managed to switch them off. The police admired the car and noticed I didnt have a tax disc. We had ordered it online, but apparetnly its another fine if its not actually displayed. But hey, Jill and me are expert flirts, so some giggles here, a flick of the hair there and the police wrote off both fines and said they would sort it out. Half an hour and some funny stories later we were free to go.
I told J what had happened, and he seemed a tad non plussed until he spied my top in the back of the car....I had forgotten to tell him that I had borrowed a top from Jill when I went to pick her up brfpre we went out. Good job he trusts me lol.
My sister and her 2 kids are away to Florida for two weeks, I have given her a list of things to bring back,. but apparently there is some rule about bringing lettuce wraps back....She rang me just now and its hot but rainy. They wanted to tell me they were in Starbucks....you could go off some people....Anyway, she worked her arse off for this holiday and they deserve the best time ever. Sounds like they are having it too.
Im off out this weekend with j. Going for a meal and then maybe staying over in a hotel. We arent going abroad this October so he is trying to book a log cabin with a jacuzzi or hot tub. Ive just always wanted to stay in one of those. And. you know, I can score something else off the list....
Anyway, Im off to soak in the bath. Later.
