GlasVagas
Yeh its not a place, but it will be fun trying to get Google to search for it. And when we asked our friend for directions to her flat in Glasgow - she used the name GlasVagas - which was pretty cool.
The girls and I went on a road trip to Glasgow the other day, four of us in all, off to meet one of our friends who has just moved there. She is a true girly girl and hysterical. The trip there was pretty uneventful, but fun all the same. We went for a pink champagne lunch, did loads of shopping then had cocktails inbetween. It felt like being back in America, the shops, the Long Island Ice Tea, Apple Martinis *sigh* I do miss it. We went back to the flat and drank vodka cheesecake shots - lethal and bloody brilliant. We watched a Girls Aloud video (I did say she was a girly girl) and listened to cheesy music before we went out on the town for more cocktails.
After a few hours sleep, we went to Ikea (gotta love that place) then for lunch at a Japanese place, which was great. I got take out for J and he loved it too. We had the best time and we didnt cause much trouble at all, apart from one person upsetting a bus driver by flicking him the finger, only for him to drive up along side me and start shouting.... We finished the day by getting Starbuck Frappacinos - I have the girls converted, there we all were walking up the street, sunglasses on with our Starbucks. Heaven.
Then there was a fight in the street - quite a wild argument between a man and women over a mobile phone. After Jill accused me and R of being nosey because we stopped to watch - she proceeded to run out of Starbucks when she saw the couple again, running after them to see what was happening. Needless to say, we made up various stories as to what the argument could mean lol.
Me and J are off to my sisters BBQ today, the sun is out and its going to be fun.
