Another Meme Thing
I got amelia_seyroon to post a thing with five words/things that reminded her of me upon a comment to her journal, so I may give my thoughts about it. This is that.
Multiverse Crisis: MCM started as a place I loved and turned into one that saddened and enraged me whenever I thought about it. There are good RPers there, and I've had fun on it, but it's basically the cesspit of the MUSH world by now and it started off with such (M3 has made me snicker whenever I use this word) potential. Ah well; I've got my normal alts and my one Super Secret Character there, so I'll hang out and enjoy the ride once in a while. Once it bleeds some players off elsewhere and there is less competiiton for their moment in the sun (and less newbie-hate) I'll maybe count it as "okay."
Rhode Island: I like the state I live in. It's pretty cool. I don't like the corruption or the expensive parts of living here, but it is, all in all, someplace I am happy to reside. I don't think I could imagine living anywhere where I can't take a short walk to the shore, or get fresh seafood readily just about anywhere, or where I could say "bubbler" and have people know what I mean.
Role-play: It's what I love to do. I play on a bunch of MUSHes, fachead on two, staff on one, play a couple of tabletop games, play a few console and computer RPGs and one MMORPG... yeah, I roleplay a lot. It's a great way for me to explore all the crazy fantasies I've got, to play in a world that isn't my own, to practice writing, and to meet a lot of really cool people with similar interests.
Anime: I watch a bunch of giant robot anime and a smattering of other stuff. Code Geass, Gun x Sword, Gundam 00, Turn-A Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Gundam MS Igloo, Xabungle, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (shut up), Full Metal Panic!, Ouran High School Host Club (shut up), used to watch Ranma 1/2 and Excel Saga... yeah, okay, I like anime.
TV: I have largely lost interest in TV. Stargate, Supernatural, Heroes and occasionally House are basically all I watch nowadays. I used to watch a lot more, but I can just torrent stuff (like Doctor Who, almost forgot about that!) that I miss.
