Hi Blair. It's nice to meet you. My name's Sally.

Hi Sally. So, what are you in for?

Can I ask that? God. They don't have an etiquette book for aa or therapy.

You can ask. I can tell you to shove off, if I like, but I won't. I'm in because my mom's in AA, and I grew up in programs.

I don't know a thing about private school. I'm strictly a public school kid. Chicago. And I never did the popular thing. It looks like a lot of work, you know? So what good stuff do you get from it? No judging, here, just, you're the first popular girl I've met to talk to, you know?

Oh, and I'm a geek and an activist nerd and a drama-club-hag, if you want my labels.

Wow. Honesty is clearly your thing. Okay, then.

I've been to Chicago to shop. I liked it, but it was really cold, and it messed my hair up a lot. My best friend, okay, she was with me and people were taking her picture because they thought she was famous. They probably thought I was her poor abused assistant or something.

What do I get from it? Sometimes, I have no earthly idea. It's like a job, and it takes total commitment and discipline. I get invited to great parties, I guess, and when you're on top a lot of people want to be you. It's just that it's a long way down, when you fall. And I'm good at it, being popular. It suits me. It's just a bitch, sometimes, yeah.

Activist nerd, eh? I do a lot of charity work. It looks good on college applications.

Drama? Who's your favorite actress? Mine is Audrey Hepburn.

Hello, Blaire, I'm Harry.

Your schools sounds a lot like my boarding schools. You have to love a well rounded quality education.

Hi, Harry. You're cute.

My best friend went to a boarding school (without telling me), she said it was just like Constance (my school) without a home to escape to. Ugh. I'd feel sorry for you, but trust me, it's way worse for a girl.

I suppose it is in some ways. Though many would say we're all whiners considering the privileged background we come from. The best education money can buy, and the ins with all the Ivy League schools. There is competitiveness with guys too, but no I don't imagine it's anything like the way it is for girls.

I better have an in with Yale. I'm going there even if I have to kill someone no matter what. And my ex-boyfriend always said, "Oh, Blair, I know how hard it is for you." And you know, he really didn't. There's this damn double standard for girls and boys, and we have to be extra-on top of everything, all the time, and smart, and have a social conscience and, oh, look like a freaking model on top of it.

And people wonder why I throw up all the time.

"We", huh? Your family anyone I should know?

OOC: OMG, she tries to have tact, really. O_o

I used to do private detective work in your social set. Then I got a little too drunk and worked for a much lower set. Same work, though -- cheating spouses.
