WTF HOW DID I MANAGE TO GET A COLD AGAIN. XD Gahhhh so last week + this week I've been sick, I'm just getting better now although I still feel like sleeping for years at a time! *dies* And considering I have to be out of the house before 8am four mornings a week (8am = FAR TOO EARLY to Hannie, mornings don't really exist in my vocabulary,

Waterboys was just HILARIOUS!!! You are talking about the Japanese movies, right? I loved the movies, and then the series. You just KNEW what was gonna happen because the plot was identical to the movie but is was still FUN~NY!!!
YAY FOR THE LENA PICTURES!!! ♥ LENA IS SOOOO CUTE! ♥ LOL. Fujii Lena, I thought she was one of those models that didn't use their last name at all and we had the same last name. *Laughs* Why do a lot of models seem to have a common last name? Fujii, Suzuki, Hasegawa <---[Fujii is my last name, my doctor and teacher's name was Suzuki, and I had a friend whose last name was Hasegawa...] *Amused* WOW! SHe rhinestoned everything, and it looks AWESOME! I wish there was a place here that did that... I need to take my laptop and digital camera to Japan to have it done... and get scolded by my cousin for bringing unnecessary luggage. *Laughs nervously* Oh look, and she has those big sunglasses like Jin does. LOL.

Yup I'm talking about the Japanese movie, luckily my uni has quite a few Japanese dvds so me and my friend are working our way through them. XD I really want to watch the series now, the plot being identical to the movie definitely isn't a bad thing since it was SOOOOO FUNNY. <3 I can't even choose which part I liked best, it all cracked me up. XD
Lena is SOOOOOO cute~~~ ♥ Yeah, I thought she didn't use her last name either and I was wondering what it was, then in the one I bought recently they had her full name~ XD Ooooooh Fujii is your last name as well? That's so cool, such a coincidence! Gahhhh I want to rhinestone my cellphone and laptop but there's nowhere here that does that either. >__<;; I'm going to Osaka in August and have to take my laptop with me (I'm going for 11 months so I'd be slightly lost without it! 8D), I might see if I can get it done then. *O* Hahahaha how is a laptop and digital camera unnecessary?! I think you should definitely take them next time you go~ ;D I love those big sunglasses, I forgot hers are the same style as Jin's ones. Gah, the bad thing about fashion magazines is they remind me the things I want to buy! =__=;; *wanders off to shop instead of going to uni* XD

Fujii is my last name, but it's such a common name, ne. ^-^;;; AWESOME~! You're going to Osaka?? I LOVE OSAKA!!! I practically live there once every few years, like literally. My parents are from Kansai so my relatives all live in Osaka, and I go cause trouble at their place. *Sweatdrops* LOL. Which reminds me, I played a prank on my uncle and aunty and didn't tell them I was coming last summer... I THINK THEY ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK!!! XPPP I mean to have your niece show up from the state all of the sudden. LOL. I'm sure Umeda would have a lot of place to do rhinestone, since Japan is obsessed with rhinestones... And all the summer clothes they'd have on sale. >___< Hey, if you're going in August, they'll start lowering the price on yukatas, so that'd be an awesome time to shop for some, ne. ^-~ Lucky you!
Laptops and digital cameras are unnecessary in my cousin's opinion because I'd sit around and go on the internet. She wants me to get out more, but seriously, where can you go when nobody trusts you leaving for more than a few hours without supervision?? This was the first time they even let me out alone, and I got in trouble for not calling when I was only out for ONE, ONE HOUR!!! WTH? *Goes off* LOL. I'm 18, you'd figure they'd trust me a little more... *Shakes head* My aunty hates me bringing that stuff because she knows I do heavy shopping and it's hard to pack a laptop among all other things. Like last year, I bought a stereo and brought it back. MY AUNT WAS PISSED! She ended up making me pack... *Sweatdrops*
Great, now I'm spamming your LJ... Sorry about the long entry. *Bows in apology*

I'm so excited about going to Osaka!! *O* But I'm not as smart as I thought I was, apparently - I meant to type I'm going this October, not next month! XD I'll be studying at Osaka Gaidai in Minoh-shi for 11/12 months (that's why I'm going in October, because that's when the fall semester starts), but hopefully I'll have PLENTY of time to explore and shop and do everything EXCEPT study! 8D ♥ I'm going more for the experience of being immersed in the language rather than for the studying opportunities, if I was going for the studying I'd want to go to Waseda. XD Wahhh that's so cool all your relatives live in Osaka! *O* But it's bad they won't let you go out on your own!! =__=;; I mean, I can understand at night (my mum used to have fits about me going out at night, and my city is very relatively safe *diesssss*), but during the day?! *shakes head with you* Hopefully next time you go they'll let you out more! :O ♥ HAHAHA you bought a stereo?! XD I have to remember not to buy too much big stuff, because shipping it home is going to be mental... 8D
Ahhhh don't apologise about long-ness/spamming - my comments are ALWAYS long and spammy!! ;D I don't think I have it in me to make a short comment. *collapses* But I love spammy comment-convos~ ♥

I know OF Osaka Gaidai, but I have no idea where it is because I suck at directions. Can you believe that I was lost in Umeda for around 2 hours, trying to find my way around!? AND THOSE DAMNED SIGNS!!! I got lazy and started reading the English signs instead of the Japanese ones (not that either helped really) and it was ONE BIG LOOP!!! *Upset* So I asked direction (like I should've done from the beggining since I speak the language). I'm so stubborn sometimes. *Sighs* Getting off-topic...
Yeah, I really think that it's the best way to catch the language is to be immersed in it (and I keep telling this to my best friend who doesn't listen to me). SO HAVE A PARTY BLAST!!! IDK. Osaka people are really friendly and are nicer towards foreigners (although they're more nosy) so I think you picked the right place or maybe I'm biased.
My relatives DO let me out because they don't really want me just staying at home either (so demanding, ne), but they get worried really quickly. They say "it's not as safe as you think it is." I LIVE IN FREAKIN' LAS VEGAS!!! IT ISN'T SAFE HERE!!! HE~RE!!! *Laughs* Seriously, I can handle myself fine although they seem to think otherwise. Especially since, I have this really bad f'ck off aura around me when I go out alone because I HATE going out alone, and I'm not scrawny for an Asian chick.
YES, I bought a stero AND I ALMOST MISSED MY FLIGHT FOR IT!!! Okay, it was actually me shopping, and my aunty not noticing the time. I went through the gate 10 minutes into boarding time and they were aleady doing last calls, and I still haven't even gotten on the momnrail to take me to the gates! AND I WAS LUGGING AROUND A STEREO! I didn't trust them to not throw it so I carried it on flight, it was SOOOO horrible running with a stereo on your shoulder. >___<
Oh, hey, are you going to KIX? 'Cause Kansai International Airport is an AWESOME airport!!! It's really new and pretty-looking, and it's built on an artificial island. It's SO COOL! And what I love even more is the escalators, they built the luggage carts to have a lock on it SO YOU CAN LOCK IT ON THE ESCALATORS!!! And it won't fall although it looks scary and like it will! There's attendants standing-by at the escalators and you hand then the cart and they'll put it in place for you... it's really fun. And I sound like a little kid. -_-;;;
Shipping things home is never fun. My aunt goes crazy over that and because they have a limit on baggages. I bought blank tapes because they were colorful and pretty, and she was like, "Where do you think you're going to fit all that, you are not taking that home! I'll tape shows on it and send it to you, but you ARE leaving it here!" So I left it, and she taped Nobuta and Kindaichi, etc. It's really sad when your aunt, who couldn't even pronounce KAT-TUN asks you, "Whose fan are you anyways? Kamenashi or Akanishi?" >___< LOL.
*Random* Are you double-majoring in Japanese or minoring? Oh, and what is New Zealand like? I like hearing about other coutries... and we are starting a really big convorsation in your LJ. *Sweatdrops*

Hahaha your best friend should listen to you! I think it's because when you're immersed you have no choice BUT to listen and follow and speak the language, whereas even if you have classes and study it you can become lazy and just fall back on the language you know - plus for me, I am SO BAD at studying, I get good marks anyway so I don't have that incentive. But with going to Osaka I'm definitely GETTING that incentive!! XD I don't think you're biased, everyone I've talked to always says how great Osaka is~ ;D ♥
Yupppp my flight will arrive at KIX, it sounds so awesome!! *O* I loveeeeeee airports and planes, so Kansai Intl Airport will be like jshfsdjgdhg for me, they'll have a hard time making me leave! XD Those escalators sound so cool, I think we have ones like that in this new mall they just built outside my city - you can take shopping trolleys on it and the wheels just lock on to it, it's sooooooo weird! XD
Hahaha it's my LJ, if we wanna have a big conversation we can! ;D Do you have msn messenger? (or windows live messenger, whatever they call it now XD) I always use that at night to talk to my friends, it might be easier than comment-convo! <3 I have aim as well but I don't really use it, msn is prettier and lets me abuse 878375356 emoticons. ;D For Japanese I'm doing double-major with International Relations, I'm going to do Japanese honours once I've finished my BA (I've got the rest of this year, next year in Japan, then my final year after that). My goal is to get into the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a diplomatic officer as they hire mainly university graduates - I've heard it's really competitive but I've also heard that having a 2nd language is a DEFINITE plus, and since Japan is one of NZ's main trading partners I'm definitely hoping I can get in! *O*
Ooooh I love hearing about other countries too! :D Haha I have this love/hate affair with NZ, I was born here but sometimes it's just way too small for me (it's practically same size as Japan but only 4 million people XD) or way too cold (well, more like my city is too windy XD). Butttt I loveeeeee it during the summer, since there's always a beach nearby no matter where you go, and I love just wandering around the city during the summer because there's always something on. I think most people know NZ because of the scenery, especially in the South Island - I went to visit friends studying at a uni down there last year, we went horseriding on this massive and the view was just aksdjfsdhfjsgfjhg. But I seriously need a larger city. AND MORE SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIES. XD

I never study either. -_-;;; I always say I will, but like you said, when you get away without studying, you just don't because you have no incentive and end up taking the easy way out. So foreign exchange must be a great way to learn the language, ne! ^-~ Because you need to haggle (well, not really), BUT YOU CAN! The best part of shopping in Osaka! Like the department stores are set, but if you go to the shoutengais, then you can haggle a little and get away with it. Mainly because they put the prices up a little knowing that people will try to cut it down.
KIX is definitely one of the prettiest/cleanest airports I've ever seen. I like our airport here (LAS) too, but I don't compare the two - an American 'nice' airport and one in Japan is a bit different. OH, AND WE HAVE SLOT MACHINES IN THE AIRPORT! LOL. So you'd be graced with coins clattering as soon as you walk in... I hate those things (this is about Vegas). OOH! I'd love to have those escalators in a shopping mall! That'd be fun to shop with. >___<
WOW! A diplomatic officer! God, I envy you for having such a clear-cut goal.ガンバッ♪(o^-^)尸~''☆<---[I love these, they're SO CUTE! >__<]
Aww, NZ sounds like such a lovely place especially in the summer. And sceney looks beautiful, and you guys have a beach! I AM SO ENVIOUS! I used to live in Hawaii, but after moving here, I haven't swam at all (like for 6 years now?) and I seriously have a fear of not being able to swim. I don't even try in the pool, I'm too scared to. ..・ヾ(。><)
Oh and my MSN is miyamiaki@aol.com... Oh, and it's a bit late for summer clothes but I'll go ahead and scan some ViVi pictures later for you, in return for the ones I got from you, ne. ^-~
