I'm still here.
Getting nowhere fast.
After that week off, life returned to normal which is bedlam.
The weather has been ungodly hot, and as I've said, more times than you probably care to hear.
I HATE FUCKING HUMIDITY.
I can't take it. No kidding. So, I'm taking care of my beautiful wonderful grandkids with all the enthusiasm of a soggy graham cracker.
I've taken to taking cool showers at night and filling the tub with warm water so that when I wake up drenched in sweat I can go sit in a cool tub.
No AC which is fine as long as we don't have the humidity. There is no friggin escape.
So, this week...my eldest daughter needs her kids looked after too. 12 and 9. Actually, apart from being chief cook and bottle washer 24/7, they'll probably entertain the little ones making life marginally better for me. Actually, with a 12, 9, 3 1/2 and 9 mos spread, I will be reliving my life of roughly 20 years ago.
Life is endlessly interesting, huh?
