jewells68 to the Rescue!
A huge thank you to jewells68! When I mentioned I was combing the thrift stores for used books, Jewells promptly sent me this awesome assortment of young adult fiction and wonderfully sciencey books to stock my classroom library! I mean, wow! The best part...as soon as school's over, I'm bringin' these babies home and reading them ALL. (Not pictured is A Wrinkle in Time, which was commandeered by Miss S.)
The students were absolutely thrilled to have such an incredible assortment from which to choose to fill their time after their icky standardised state tests.
Some days are better than others in my classroom......
More stuff later...not so classroomy. I'm back to working on my DWSaL blocks - I am on the 12th Doctor!
