A vacation to Korea -- I said Wow
I was talking to my fiance tonight about her week long vacation to Korea that she's taking with two of her uni friends. It was supposed to be their graduation trip but things like work got in the way so it was delayed until this coming February. I haven't been to Korea yet and I said I may want to go, because I know some people who live in Seoul.
"But if you go, I don't have time for you in Korea."
"Oh wow, no time for me?"
"No, because I have to meet my friends in Korea!"
"Oh wow, okay, that's fine."
"And you'd have to stay at a hotel by yourself because I'll be sleeping at my friend's house."
"Oh wow..."
"We could have breakfast or lunch together..."
"Oh wow okay, breakfast and lunch, that's fine by me."
"No, breakfast OR lunch! Not both!"
"Oh wow."
"Maybe we can meet for an hour every day or something!"
"Oh wow, only an hour?"
"Yeah, then we can go shopping for that one hour so you can carry my bags."
"WOW..."
Mind you, I wasn't mad during this whole conversation, it was actually very funny. I think she made the fact that she doesn't want me bothering her on this trip loud and clear. :)
