My cousin from London loves to visit US, especially here in NY. We always have a good time when she and her bf are here. Whenever they come here, they say they live the "Dreamy American Life".
How is it dreamy to them?
- The pound is WAY stronger than the dollar. They bought 30 pairs of trainers and lots of clothes. 30 pairs. My. God.
- They don't have great sushi, mexican or korean food in UK. When they're here, they go all out.
They've visited us 3 times in the past 2 years. I have never been to London.
Until June 21.
I will have my "Dreamy British Life" for 11 days.
It definitely won't be the same as their visits.
I won't eat as well or buy as much as they did.
Hopefully these will make my trip:
- Wimbledon. I will try my best to watch one day, esp. when Federer is on.
- Watching an England World Cup match with Brits. it's gonna be CRAZY! I hope I don't my ass kicked if England loses.
- Eating the best crisps and chocolate.
- Learning and understanding British slang and accent. This will be difficult.
- Fish and chips. Yorkshire pudding. Pubs.
- British women and their accents. ooooooh.
Bloody hell. I can't wait.
