RIP Eugene "Yuujin" Erickson
Those who have known me long enough, know that once upon a time I was in love with two men, Carl and Yuujin. Yuujin and I had seen each other long distance. I found him physically attractive and we bonded on being linguanerds (he spoke German taught high school Spanish). I had gone to Disney twice with him, and unfortunately, I realised that my feelings for Carl were stronger than Yuujin's. We continued to talk, as I told him I'd find my way eventually down to Orlando. Admittedly I had concerns with two former "rivals" meeting, but unfortunately this didn't happen. He was hospitalised with cellulitis and, as more complications developed, they were unable to resuscitate him.
It's very odd, to lose someone you've -- at one time -- been so close to.
