It's time to play ... DRESS REGEV!
Hey gents (and ladies)! As you know, I'm quite a fan of the clothing of the mid- to late 1800s. I go to an event celebrating the period (with more of a Wild West slant) called Traders Jubilee. I had a blast this year, was all ready to go this year (complete with reservations at a bed and breakfast in the town of McGregor, IA), when the event then became canceled because of fears of the Mississippi River flooding (and rightfully so!).
So I have time until the event gets rescheduled, and I figure, hey, my friends have good taste (or at least I'd like to think so!). So let's play ... DRESS REGEV! I'm looking for a new addition to my wardrobe, and I'd trust you guys would have an eye for something that would be period-appropriate yet sexy (because ... well, yeah, the clothes of the era are hot. As are the recreators who celebrate said time frame. But I digress ...!).
