Post-Run Blahs
I went to Chicago this weekend; Bear Pride and International Mister Leather were -- as they always are during the Memorial Day weekend -- present in Chicago, and though it was a good time, I hadn't registered, was broke, and in the end ended up doing WAAAY too much sitting in the lobby. Kind of wish that wasn't the case but ... blah.
There were a few negative incidents besides: I asked about a man's hubby at Sidetracks today during the farewll party and found out the husband in question died from cancer. I went to hug another gentleman who kind of flipped out on me and told me not to touch him. A gentleman asked me to come over and see him at IML and then blew me off, and another possible piece of fun was just a prank on Grindr. It was fairly annoying.
On the plus side I got to spend time with guys I normally don't; I finally met sultmhoor (which, really, is statistically baffling!), spent time with gullinbursti and his hubby (including having a nice Greek meal), and even got to see dizzi_d and his hubby for the first time in three years. So really, I can't kvetch TOO awful much here, ne? ^_^
Still, I'm back in Peoria, going back to a job I loathe, after coming back from not even having done half of what I wanted to do, and I'm just rather blah.
