On Saturday night Carl and I went with
slavetoreznor to a local bookstore, and we began talking about how she, in her job dealing with customers at a pharamacy, learned a few signs to help out her deaf clientele.
"So why not get an ASL book?" I suggested.
Sure enough, she found one, and she struggled trying to reproduce the flat pictures on the page as they formed various sentences. A shame the first sentence she successfully reproduced from the book was "Sorry your dad died." :: laugh :: I'm REALLY hoping she NEVER has to use that sentence, EVER. ^^;;;
