How do you make the unicode characters show? All I see are tiny rectangles with two hexadecimal numbers in them.

Are you using a PC? I'm using Firefox and I have a font called Code2000, which will make various alphabets and syllabaries appear (Cherokee, Ethiopic, etc.).

If you have a Mac and OS X, the third OS install disc has extra fonts (including Plantagenet for Cherokee) that you can install.

Hey Roger, very impressive!! ᏩᏙ! I've just copied the text and sent it off to a friend here in Seattle (another of the gay-language-nerd tribe) who has studied some Tsalagi. He just snagged an Icelandic translation from a guy there who is the director of Reykjavík Gay Pride.

Next step: getting it vetted by a native, right?
